In February 18, the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the Dagestan State Medical University and the Federal Scientific and Clinical Center of Resuscitation and Rehabilitation was held. Participants in the signing ceremony were the rector of DSMU Suleiman Mammayev and the head of the Scientific and Educational Department of FSCС RR Alexandra Rodionova. The event was also attended by vice-rectors and deans of faculties of DSMU.
Within the framework of the agreement, it is planned to establish cooperation in the field of exchange of research information, improvement of the efficiency of medical services, the use of advanced scientific and technical achievements, as well as improvement and provision of the educational process, the development and implementation of effective educational technologies, the dissemination of experience of priority areas of modernization of education.
According to the text of the Agreement, DSMU and FSCС RR will use the scientific, methodological and innovative potential of the parties, plan to exchange teachers, scientists, staff, residents and graduate students on short-term and medium-term educational programs, on the basis of separately concluded contracts. It is also planned to conduct joint research; professional development and training of teachers, young scientists and students; joint distance education seminars, lectures, conferences. Commenting on the signing of this Agreement, Mammayev noted that the University is interested in the development of such cooperation with Federal institutions, as DSMU needs to build scientific capacity, conduct joint research with leading scientists, train personnel for the Department of Anesthesiology of the University, and other activities. In addition, the rector noted that Dagestan is a unique place for rehabilitation of people who have suffered various diseases. From this point of view, cooperation will be beneficial to both sides. He also conveyed greetings to Arkady Golubev, the head of the FSCC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who for many years was the rector of the Dagestan Medical Institute.

Fedota and her fellow scientists joined the study of coronavirus infection which in early 2020 acquired the character of a pandemic. At the moment, the first results of scientific work have been obtained, which are published in a specialized scientific publication.Thus, the scientific-pedagogical staff of the School of Medicine even during quarantine continues active scientific, methodological, educational, clinical and training work for the benefit of the university and the country.
