Saint-Petersburg Medico-Social Institute provides education for medical students and postgraduate courses for people who works in medicine and social areas. There is only one institute in Russia, which has Occupational Therapy (Ergotherapy) programme.
World Federation of Occupational Therapists approves this programme. The institute has a rich experience in collaboration within medical and social rehabilitation (in Russia and Tajikistan).

Far Eastern Federal University is a university located in Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, Russia.

The university was reformed into State Far Eastern University (Государственный дальневосточный университет) by Far Eastern Republic authorities in 1920 during the Russian Civil War, until it was closed in the 1930s under Joseph Stalin. It was reinstated in 1956 as Far Eastern State University by the Council of Ministers of the USSR, two years after Nikita Khrushchev visited Vladivostok. In 2000, its English name was changed to Far Eastern National University, however the name in Russian remained unchanged and
Novgorod State University (Jaroslav the Wise)
The Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University, also known informally as NovSU, was founded in 1993 by merging the two oldest higher education institutions of Veliky Novgorod: the Pedagogical and Polytechnic Institutes. Later, Novgorod Agricultural Academy was included into the structure of the University. At present it comprises seven Institutes and four Colleges of secondary vocational education.
The Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University comprises 4 institutes, an academy, 4 university faculties and 5 colleges. N.P.Ogarev Mordovia State University now boasting a status of a National research university is a Federal state budgetary academic institution of higher education offering the whole spectrum of academic programmes for undergraduate, graduate and post graduate students; among its core activity is fundamental and applied research, further training and qualification improvement courses for teaching staff and scholars. The decision about the establishment of the Chuvash State University on the base of the Moscow Lenin’s award power engineering institute was made in August, 17, 1967. There were 7 faculties, they were: historically-philological, medical, generally-technical, chemical, economical, electrical engineering and industry electrification faculties.

Bashkir State Agrarian University (or BSAU) is one of the oldest agricultural higher education institutions of Russia and a center of education and research in the Bashkortostan Republic.
The university was founded in 1930 in accordance with the Resolution of the Central Executive Committee and Council of People’s Commissars of the Soviet Union.
There are internal, intra- and extramural courses, as well as correspondence forms of education. However, for international students only intramural courses are available. There are 80 certified educational programs, including two publicly accredited educational programs on academic bachelor’s degree. More than 62% of students are trained on agricultural majors.
